Implant volume is only one part of the plan.
After examining you, I explain the options I consider reasonable and the advantages and limitations of each one.
Implant type
I work with Motiva, Eurosilicone, Mentor, Silimed, and Natrelle implants. The brand, shape, surface, and profile are selected according to your anatomy, preferences, and surgical plan.
Subfascial pocket
This is my preferred pocket when the tissues allow adequate coverage and a proportionate result.
Dual-plane pocket
I use dual plane when muscle coverage offers an advantage. The choice depends on your anatomy and goals.
Inframammary incision
For primary augmentation, I usually use the breast fold because it provides good control when creating the implant pocket.
Periareolar option
An incision around the areola is also possible. I explain its advantages and limitations during consultation.
Surgery and hospital
Surgery lasts 2–3 hours with regional anesthesia and anesthesiology monitoring. Discharge is usually the same day; an overnight stay is optional.

06How long is recovery?
Office work: 1 week. Driving: about 1 month. Sleeping on your back: 3–4 weeks. Exercise: 2 months.
07How long should an international patient stay in Guadalajara?
I recommend staying 10–15 days for early recovery monitoring and the first postoperative visits.
